Paloma's estate Merlot grows 2,000 feet up on Spring Mountain in Napa Valley, and this tiny winery has been a collector favorite since its 2001 was named Wine Spectator's top wine in the world. Boysenberry jam, black plum, anise and French lavender lead into blackberry compote, baker's chocolate and licorice over firm tannins. Bold, richly textured mountain Merlot built to age.
