Odd Lot's 2023 red blend, from Scheid Family Wines in Monterey County, pairs Petite Sirah with Petit Verdot. The winery's info sheet promises decadent aromas of blackberry, ripe plum, juicy fig, sweet vanilla, and smoky oak, with a full body, soft tannins, and a lingering black fruit finish. Big flavor at a small price.
