The 2018 Tour Marcillanet is a Haut-Medoc blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc from gravelly soils just west of Saint-Julien. Reviewers note a deep ruby color with mature aromas of undergrowth, truffle, and sweet oak, framed by blackcurrant, plum, and black cherry fruit. Classic claret for roast beef, lamb, or a proper cheese board.
