From Shannon Ridge's estate vineyards in Lake County's High Valley, Buck Shack takes Cabernet and gives it a Bourbon-barrel kiss. Winemaker Joy Merrilees' notes promise ripe black cherry and blackberry, creamy vanilla, and warm caramel and butterscotch from those barrels. It's a bold, smooth sipper that begs for a fireside chair.
