Boen, from fifth generation winemaker Joe Wagner, is a Russian River Valley Pinot Noir with real presence. The winemaker tech sheet layers wild blackberry, Santa Rosa plum and strawberry with hints of oregano, sage and white pepper. The palate follows with ripe raspberry, boysenberry and black fruit jam warmed by spice. Rich and expressive, it loves duck, pork chops and roasted vegetables.
