Barrel Oak's Cabernet Franc is grown on a rocky limestone block at 700 to 900 feet in Delaplane, Virginia. The official notes describe blackberry, bright cherry, and white pepper, opening to vanilla and smoke, with a rich mouthfeel, medium body, nice acidity, and well-integrated tannins. A polished Virginia red that shows what the variety can do here.
