High-quality Evolutionary Saddles “The Captain” endurance and trail saddle featuring the innovative System X flexible-panel design. Built for long-distance riding, The Captain combines the security of a rigid tree for the rider with independently moving flexible panels designed to accommodate the horse's back in motion.
 
The System X construction uses articulated Delrin panels beneath the saddle to distribute rider weight across a broad surface while allowing movement through the horse's shoulders and back. Unlike a conventional Western saddle, fit is not based simply on a fixed SQHB/FQHB bar designation.  It does measure 6" from dot to dot. 
 
The Captain was specifically designed for all-day riding, featuring a narrow-to-moderate twist, low rise, supportive dished cantle and slight seat pocket. Multiple stainless attachment points provide ample capacity for trail and endurance gear.
 
This saddle includes the System X flexible panels, endurance-style stirrups with fleece covers, and numerous D-rings for trail equipment.
