The Devoucoux Biarritz is a premium French close-contact jumping saddle designed to provide excellent balance, close contact, and freedom of movement for both horse and rider. Handmade in France, the Biarritz is one of Devoucoux's signature jumping saddles and is well suited for hunter/jumper, equitation, and performance jumping disciplines.
 
This saddle features Devoucoux's Arcade Ouverte, or open/wider tree configuration. Compared with the standard Arcade Normale configuration, the Arcade Ouverte provides a more open tree profile for horses requiring additional width through the front of the saddle.
 
The saddle also features Devoucoux's D3D panel technology. These single-block alveolar foam panels are manufactured to create flexible, symmetrical bearing surfaces designed to distribute pressure more evenly across the horse's back. The D3D construction also maintains the close-contact feel for which Devoucoux jumping saddles are known.
 
The 17" seat provides a balanced close-contact riding position, while the 1D flap configuration provides the specific flap length and orientation selected when the saddle was originally built.
