The Bates Caprilli is a quality close-contact jumping saddle designed to provide a balanced, secure riding position with the adjustability and practical fitting features for which Bates saddles are known. The 19" seat is particularly desirable for riders who need additional room while still wanting a traditional close-contact jumping configuration.

The Caprilli features Bates' EASY-CHANGE gullet system, allowing the front tree width to be altered using interchangeable gullet plates. This provides considerably more fitting flexibility than a traditional fixed-width tree and allows the saddle to be adjusted as the horse's shape changes.
Forward-cut jumping flaps provide room for the rider's knee when riding at jumping length, while supportive knee blocks help maintain a stable lower-leg position without creating an overly restrictive feel.  The tree is currently set for a Medium Narrow Tree.

The Caprilli is a versatile choice for hunters, jumpers, equitation, schooling, and general English riding.
