Horse Fit
The Wide tree makes this Relevant a useful starting point for a horse carrying more width through the shoulder and upper back than would typically suit a Medium or Medium-Wide Passier.
The cut-back pommel is particularly useful because a horse can require a Wide tree while still possessing noticeable wither definition. Wide does not necessarily mean flat or mutton-withered.
The rear-gusseted panels provide additional bearing surface and help support the rear of the saddle. Combined with the V-billet arrangement, this gives the fitter useful tools for achieving appropriate balance and stability.
 
As with any saddle, the Wide designation alone does not determine fit. Wither shape, shoulder angle, back curvature, spinal clearance and panel contact should all be evaluated on the individual horse.
 
Rider Fit
The 17.5" seat with 17" flap provides a traditional adult dressage configuration.
