Jochen Klenk Exclusiv-MaRsattel 17.5" Dressage Saddle – Handmade in Germany

Designed and handcrafted by German Master Saddler Jochen Klenk, this Exclusiv-MaRsattel dressage saddle represents the craftsmanship of a small boutique workshop focused on anatomical fit, rider balance, and long-term comfort for horse and rider. Unlike mass-produced saddles, these were individually built in Germany using premium leather, traditional construction methods, and Klenk's patented flexible tree technology.

This saddle features Jochen Klenk's patented anatomical spring tree, engineered to provide controlled flexibility while maintaining stability for the rider. Broad wool-flocked panels distribute weight evenly across the horse's back while maintaining generous spinal clearance, making this an excellent choice for many warmbloods, Thoroughbreds, and sport horses with moderate to moderately broad conformations.

The seat offers a secure medium-deep profile with a narrow twist, encouraging correct rider position without feeling restrictive. The moderately forward flap accommodates a wide variety of riders and disciplines focused on classical dressage and flatwork.

The leather has developed the beautiful patina expected from a well-maintained German saddle while remaining soft, supple, and ready for many more years of use.

Condition

Very good used condition with normal cosmetic wear consistent with age and use. Leather remains supple, stitching is sound, billets are in good condition, and the saddle presents beautifully. A rare opportunity to own a handcrafted German dressage saddle from a respected independent master saddler whose work is seldom found in the United States.

Comparable in craftsmanship to premium boutique German makers such as Passier, Schleese, and County, but produced in far smaller numbers by Master Saddler Jochen Klenk, making these saddles uncommon in North America.
