The original-generation Fryso Legacy combines traditional English craftsmanship with a supportive dressage design. Handmade in England, this saddle features a deep leather seat and pronounced cantle, offering a secure, supported feel for schooling and competition.
 
The 18" long dressage flaps accommodate a longer stirrup position, while substantial padded knee blocks provide support for the rider’s leg. Black leather and understated detailing give the Legacy a classic appearance. Fryso’s development draws on its experience with Friesian horses, with an emphasis on rider comfort and thoughtful saddle construction.  The tree is a hoop tree which is shaped in a U instead of a typical tree in a V shape.  This makes for a great fit for horses that do not have substantial withers but a sold musculature in the shoulder area.  Fryso designs the tree points and sweat flaps to allow shoulder movement—useful for Friesians’ expressive foreleg action.
