The Forestier Boekelo is a premium French monoflap cross-country and eventing saddle designed for riders who want exceptional close contact, security, and freedom of movement over fences and across varied terrain.

Designed specifically around the demands of eventing, the Boekelo uses a streamlined monoflap construction that eliminates the additional layer of leather found on a conventional double-flap jumping saddle. This places the rider's leg closer to the horse, providing a direct and responsive feel particularly desirable for cross-country riding.

The forward flap configuration provides room for the shorter stirrup and more forward knee position commonly used across country. Substantial external blocks provide additional stability and security while allowing the rider to remain mobile and balanced over fences.

Forestier saddles are handmade in France using high-quality leather and performance-oriented construction. The Boekelo is a purpose-built eventing saddle rather than a general-purpose close-contact model, making it particularly appropriate for cross-country, eventing, and performance jumping.
