The Devoucoux Makila S is a highly popular, top-tier monoflap dressage saddle. Known for its deep seat and prominent knee/thigh blocks, it is designed to give the rider exceptional pelvis alignment, stability, and close, precise leg contact with the horse.
 
The Medium / Standard tree is shaped for horses with average, defined withers and standard topline profile.  The flaps are extra long which ideal for the taller riders (between 5’7” to 5’10” depending on femur length.   It is a forward – cut flap alignment which gives a taller rider a bit more room to accommodate their thigh angle without their knee hitting the front edge.   This saddle is full grain leather with grippy calfskin or buffalo on the seat and knee pads for extra security.  
 
This saddle had some metallic piping around the seat to make it shine in the show ring!
