The WXW tree indicates a substantially broader tree configuration than County's standard Medium or Wide options. This saddle should therefore be considered as a starting point for a broad horse with substantial width through the back and shoulder area, rather than a narrow or prominent-withered horse.
Potential candidates can include broad warmbloods, draft crosses, cobs and other substantial sport-horse types, depending on their actual back profile and the saddle's current panel configuration.
Because the saddle is wool flocked, a qualified fitter has additional ability to fine-tune balance and panel contact, but flocking cannot compensate for an fundamentally inappropriate tree shape or width.
