In addition to spending quality time on her ranch with her husband, Frank, and a variety of hooved and furry critters, Kimberly Pinello’s two greatest passions are horses and wine. It was the combination of these loves that compelled her to create the concept of The Galloping Grape. Based in Warrenton, Virginia, the shop offers a robust selection of lightly-used saddles for every kind of rider and many of the world’s finest wines. At “The Grape,” Kim employs her extensive experience in advising and performing saddle fittings and will shelf no wine before she has personally tasted it. An avid trail rider—especially in Virginia—Kim and her best Rocky Mountain equine partner, Maggie, traverse over 700 miles annually.
